OUR HISTORY

The confirmation of the Lord’s will for Pastor Dixon to minister to a flock began with a meeting at the home of Pastor Karlton Dixon and First Lady Lisa Dixon to form the origin of the church. Thereafter, in January, 2010, Pastor Karlton Dixon and First Lady Lisa Dixon, the founders of Life Living Ministries, started the ministry with Bible Study services on Mondays at Meadowlake Park. These Bible Study services included songs of praise, prayer and teachings that continually increased the number of worshippers until a larger room had to be utilized. The Lord sent his vision to Pastor Dixon that this ministry needed a home to continue winning souls for His kingdom.  

On Sunday, July 25, 2010, the first worship service was held in the building at 7303 Firelane Road, Columbia, South Carolina. For the past four years, the congregation has continued to grow in numbers, in love, and in faith. Under the leadership of Pastor Dixon and First Lady Lisa Dixon, the church has been thriving and the following ministries have developed: Deacons Ministry, Deaconess Ministry, Facilities Management Ministry, Garden Ministry, Health & Fitness Ministry, Healthcare Ministry, Hostess Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Praise & Worship Ministry, Praise Dance Ministry, Prison Ministry, Self-Identify Ministry, Sick & Shut- In/Bereavement Ministry, Social Media Ministry, Technology & Communications Ministry, Transportation Ministry, Trustees/Administrative Board, Ushers Ministry, Veteran’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry and Youth Ministry.
